The dash design is super, it’s very well built, plenty strong, excellent powder coating all in all a great addition to my 2025 Can Am Defender Limited with HVAC.
This would has been a 5 star review except for the junk expanding blind nuts.
The four I received were junk, first one failed expanded inward on twin of the legs. I bought the tool, but with the roughness of the internal threads in the nuts it wanted to turn as I was trying to get one to seat, that nut I had to carefully destroy to remove, I received 4 nuts. I chased the internal threads of the last three nuts, and went and bought stainless button flanged head M6 screws, painted the heads black. The mounting screws that came with the dash were 100% coated black. The coated screws this along with the rough female threads of the nuts made it impossible to keep it from turning with the tool which I discovered with the first try.
I took a M6 x 1.0 grade 8 bolt a grade 8 M6 nut and a M6 hard washer, I made my own installer this way I held the bolt a 10 mm wrench and tightened down the nut now it cannot turn, and the nut collapsed like it was suppose to.
I have installed several hundred blind nuts in my life these nuts were very poor quality.
I am glad I received 4 of them since the first one failed.
In this application GOOD QUALITY rubber WELL NUTS, brass internal thread and thin rubber top lip would have been much better fasting system. I have used many of these well nuts and many quality expanding nuts, never had an issue like this.
